General Facility Rules

  • Children ages 10 and under must be accompanied in the facility by someone 15 years of age or older.
  • Children ages 5 and under must be accompanied, in the water, within arms reach, by someone 15 years of age or older.
  • We are a pet-free facility. Service animas permitted.
  • Fight or any other unruly conduct will not be tolerated.
  • Food, drink, and gum are prohibited in the pool or within 6' of all pools.
  • Perperly fitting, Coast Guard-approved lifejackets permitted. All other floatation devices are prohibited.
  • All disputes shall be addressed by aquatic staff.
  • Ice chests are allowed, but subject to search. Alcohol and glass are prohibited.
  • Staff direction must be follwed at all times. Suspended facility privileges for those who violate rules or policies.
  • The Aquatic Center is not responsible for lost or stolen property.
  • This is a family facility; please ensure your language and behavior are appropriate.
  • Persons under the influence or drugs or alcohol are not permitted on the premises.
  • Swimmers with seizures, heart, circulatory problems or other medical conditions should not swim alone.
  • Persons with colds, skin infections, communicable diseases, open wounds, or anyone who has been ill with vomiting or diarrhea within two weeks are not permitted to enter the pools.

Prohibited

  • Glass in any form
  • Smoking, vaping, and alcohol.
  • Diving, flipping, running, pushing, horseplay, dunking, throwing objects/ people, or excessive splashing.
  • Climbing on lifeguard stands/chairs or using lifesaving equipment, except by authorized personnel.
  • Cut off jeans or garments with loose strings.
  • Fraternizing, harassing, or distracting staff will not be tolerated.
  • Spitting, urinating, defecating, or otherwise contaminating the pool or facility.

RULES

  • Only feet-first water entries are allowed when entering the pools.
  • Food, drink, and gum are prohibited in the pool or within 6 ' of all pools.
  • Properly fitting, Coast Guard-approved lifejackets permitted. All other flotation devices are prohibited.
  • Facility equipment must be used for exercise or swimming laps. Please return these items to their respective area for sanitation.
  • Persons with colds, skin infections, communicable disease, open wounds, or anyone who has been ill with vomiting or diarrhea within two weeks are not permitted to enter the pools.
  • All disputes shall be addressed by aquatic staff.

  • Staff direction must be followed at all times. Facility privileges may be suspended for those who violate rules or policies.

  • Simmers using diapers must wear a protective covering or a swim diaper.
  • Diapers must be changed in designated areas.
  • Public use telephone located at the front desk.
  • For emergency assistance, see the nearest staff member.
  • Swimmers with seizures, heart, circulatory problems, or other medical conditions should not swim alone.
