Part-Time Pool Supervisor

Water Aerobics Instructor
Applicants must be currently certified by a recognized aquatic exercise organization or be able to obtain certification. Part-Time. $14.03/hour un-certified, $20.03/hour with certification.
Responsible for Aquatic Center patron and staff safety and well-being. Supervise facility staff and monitor daily operations at the Aquatic Center. Work to prevent emergencies by assisting to enforce all facility policies, rules, and regulations. Must respond quickly to emergencies and administer CPR, AR, and first aid to guests if necessary. Attend required training sessions. Must maintain pool chemistry, water clarity, cleanliness, and safety of the facility. Must complete and oversee all cash handling functions required per shift. Must oversee and report on operations in assigned specialty area. Attendance is an essential function of this position. Hours vary and may include weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Under general supervision, performs semi-skilled maintenance work as a lead worker, and/or as specialist performing work in areas such as carpentry, plumbing, boiler care, and electrical. Assists in the planning, assignment, and review of the work of contract workers performing a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the repair and maintenance of Asotin County Family Aquatic Center buildings and equipment. Maintains swimming pool care and water chemistry. Performs other work as required. Must be able to work independently and to work a flexible schedule including weekends evenings and holidays, as the job demands. Hours may vary subject to conditions.
